The beautiful Hargus Lake in the center of the park offers many terrific spots to unfold your chair and cast your fishing line. The lake is well-stocked with bluegill, channel catfish, crappie, and largemouth bass: all the fish an avid angler could wish for. You can fish from one of the peaceful banks or take a boat out onto the lake to fish from the water. 

The park is very well-kept and full of other fun things to do, with plenty of benches, picnic tables, hiking trails, campsites, and attractive natural scenery.
