1. Pickaway Country Club

The immaculate greens and fairways and the friendly staff of this full-service facility will have you coming back time and time again. Stop by the pro shop for your golfing needs before you head out to play the 18 holes. When you visit their website, you can reserve tee times, get scorecards and rules, and see a course layout. You can also inquire about joining a league or outing.

When you’ve finished playing, relax at the onsite restaurant to refuel your body. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and they have a full bar. Pickaway is located at 1399 Stoutsville Pike. Please drink responsibly and in moderation, and do not drink and drive.

2. Crown Hill

From wildlife to creeks and gently rolling greens to rivers, this 270-acre public venue has a little bit of everything. The holes are challenging, yet fun, and they offer something for players of any skill level. The 18 holes are considered some of the prettiest around as well. You can also get some practice at the driving range before or after your game.

Join a Tuesday or Thursday night league, and if your significant other is interested, there’s even a Friday night couples league. Or you can enroll your child in a junior summer clinic. And be sure to visit the pro shop for name brands like Titleist, Bridgestone, and Callaway. Stop at the clubhouse, which overlooks the greens, and enjoy a sandwich, snack, or beverage. Crown Hill is located at 9500 US-22 in Williamsport, just 10 miles to the west of Circleville.

3. Split Rock

Located under 20 miles to the northwest, Split Rock is a public establishment that boasts 18 holes. The front nine are a bit more open than the back nine, but all will challenge your game.  Book your tee time on their website and take a look at the affordable membership rates.
