2023 Ford Ranger

The 2023 Ford Ranger is sold in three trim levels: XL, XLT, and Lariat. Each of these trims is available as a SuperCrew (crew) with a 5-foot bed or a SuperCab (extended) with a 6-foot bed. On the XL, you get 16-inch steel wheels and a manually locking tailgate to get things started. Moving up to the XLT adds 17-inch alloy wheels and the ability to add packages such as the Sport Appearance or 301A package. Ford offers one engine option for the 2023 Ranger. Each trim features a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with a 10-speed automatic transmission for a smooth ride every time. This combination delivers 270 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque for plenty of get-up-and-go in the Ranger. Drivers enjoy the EPA-estimated 26 mpg for highway driving, giving you more time on the road and less money spent at the pump.

If you're looking at purchasing a truck, performance features are a top priority, and the 2023 Ford Ranger offers plenty. Rear-wheel drive is standard across the three trims, but you can upgrade that to an all-wheel-drive system for more traction and control over various conditions. The Ranger features a best-in-class payload of 1,905 pounds and can haul up to 7,500 pounds when appropriately equipped. If you add the Tremor Off-Road package, you also get Fox shocks, an 0.8-inch increase in ground clearance, and a revised suspension for off-road riding.
